Description

This paper will focus on the evolution of E-logbooks and the features and benefits specific to the Accelerator Industry. Initially,we will give a history of the status of modern E-Logbooks using real-life results from the industry. We will then discuss the future trend of E-Logbooks both in the Particle Accelerator Business as well as in other industries. Finally, we will be putting forward some conceptual ideas on a Software as a Service (SaaS) E-Logbook for the industry and discuss the potentially huge benefits of such a concept.
