The Symposium will be devoted to the investigation of nuclei in extreme states and, in particular, at the limits of nuclear stability (from very light neutron- and proton-rich).
The Topics to be discussed are:
• Exotic Nuclei and their Properties
• Rare Processes and Decays
• Evolution of Shell Structure
• Collective Modes of the Nucleus
• Nuclear Astrophysics
• Applications of Exotic Beams in Materials Research
• Current and Future Facilities
The proceedings of IASEN2013 will be ePublished in the Open Access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), which is part of the IOP Conference Series.
All papers submitted to IASEN2013 will be subject to a peer review process.
All papers published in IOP Conference Series are fully citable and upon publication will be free to download. Authors may be interested to know that the IOP Conference Series now receives in excess of 2.3 million article downloads per year, and is abstracted and indexed in Scopus, Compendex and Inspec, amongst others.
