The Spring Workshop on GEANT4 simulations will be held on the 28th October – 2 November 2013, at the Lord Charles Hotel, Somerset West, (near Cape Town), South Africa.

The workshop is organized by iThemba LABS, South Africa and the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SASc), Slovakia, and follows the Autumn Workshop on Geant4, Slovakia, 2011, (awg.sav.sk.)

The Organizers acknowledge the support of the GEANT4 collaboration.

The workshop addresses mainly topics in low-energy nuclear physics. It aims at extending the knowledge on GEANT4 simulations among young graduates and researchers, and at facilitating their activities within the GEANT4 community. The workshop will be perhaps most attractive for students and post-doctoral fellows who make their first steps in GEANT4 simulations, but all other delegates wishing to improve their simulation skills are also very welcome. The lectures given by experts will be combined with practical sessions. The extended time should allow for plenty of discussions on many topics.

All participants are kindly requested to bring their own laptops with already installed GEANT4 and ROOT packages.
