DESCRIPTION:The 6th Advanced Nuclear Science and Technology Techniques (AN
 STT6) workshop is scheduled to take place from 18 – 22 May 2026 at NRF
 -iThemba LABS\, Cape Town.\n\nTopics to be discussed include:\n\n\n	\n	Cos
 mic Ray and Muon Physics and Applications\n	\n	\n	Environmental Measuremen
 ts\n	\n	\n	Future experimental programmes at iThemba LABS\n	\n	\n	Nuclear 
 Energy\n	\n	\n	Nuclear Experimental Techniques and Data Analysis\n	\n	\n	N
 uclear Safety and Security\n	\n	\n	Nuclear Structure Studies\n	\n	\n	Radia
 tion and Health Physics\n	\n\n\nThe workshop will be structured for presen
 tations\, discussions and networking. Collaborations and networking will 
 again be at the forefront of the workshop\, including Memoranda of Underst
 anding. \n\nThe workshop offers a comprehensive programme of invited talk
 s\, accepted talks\, poster presentations by students and round-table dis
 cussions\n\nLectures on specific topics will be presented in a hybrid form
 at in the afternoons allowing for a wider audience at no cost for virtual 
 attendance.\n\nParticipation (presentation and poster) is subject to abst
 racts being accepted by an advisory panel. \n\nThere will be a workshop f
 ee of ZAR 2000.00 for participants and a discounted rate of ZAR 500.00 f
 or students.  Accompanying persons fee is ZAR 500.00 for the attendance o
