DESCRIPTION:The Nuclear Physics communities at Stellenbosch University and
  Peking University have a long standing relationship which has been develo
 ped over more than a decade. Strong collaborative ties and a number of exc
 hange visits have resulted in internationally acclaimed research output. S
 ince 2009 this collaboration has been extended to several universities and
  national research institutes which include the iThemba Laboratory for Acc
 elerator Based Sciences and the University of the Western Cape in South Af
 rica\, as well as Shandong University\, Beihang University\, Tsinghua Univ
 ersity and China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) in China.\n\nShandong U
 niversity will host the 3rd Symposium in Weihai\, China from 27-29 August 
 2015.  \n\nThe main topics will be dedicated to nuclear reactions\, nucl
 ear structure\, chirality in nuclei\, nuclear physics with Radioactive Ion
  Beams\, neutron physics\, nuclear astrophysics\, accelerator physics\, ne
 utrino physics\, environmental radiation and applications.  Possibilities
  to extend the cooperation among physicists from China and South Africa wi
 ll also be discussed.\n\nThose  who are interested to attend this symposi
 um are kindly requested to submit an abstract (less than one page) before
