DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce a 2 day symposium to celebrate 30 y
 ears of research using the iThemba LABS Separated Sector Cyclotron. The ev
 ent will be held at iThemba LABS on 25 – 26 October 2018\, and will prec
 ede the 6th International Conference on Collective Motion in Nuclei under 
 Extreme Conditions (COMEX6) that will be held from Monday October 29\, 201
 8 to Friday November 2\, 2018 in Cape Town\, South Africa.\n\nThe Symposiu
 m will consist of invited presentations featuring research highlights and 
 technical developments spanning the 30 years of operation of the SSC\, and
  will cover the following topics:\n\nAccelerator Development\n\nNuclear Ph
 ysics Research\n\nHadron Therapy and Radiation Biology Research\n\nIsotope
  Production and related research\n\nAttendance will be free of charge\, ho
 wever delegates will have to register. Lunches will be provided and there 
 will be a barbeque on the evening of the 25th October. iThemba LABS will a
 rrange transport to and from a central location in Cape Town (particularly
  to accommodate those attending COMEX).\n\nA draft programme is available
