DESCRIPTION:\n\nDelegates to MUON2018\n\niThemba LABS (Laboratory for Acce
 lerator-Based Sciences) is pleased to host the next International MUON Wo
 rkshop in Cape Town\, South Africa from 1 – 5 April 2019. This event is 
 being held under the auspices of the Muon Group of ALICE\, the SA-CERN Pro
 gram and iThemba LABS.\n\nA comprehensive scientific program\, encompassin
 g a full range of topics and activities related to the Muon Spectrometer\,
  will be covered. Delegates and accompanying persons will also enjoy an in
 teresting social program.\n\nAccommodation will be available at the Protea
  Hotel by Marriott\, Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge\, a hotel at th
 e doorstep of the pulsating Cape Town Waterfront and about 30 km from iThe
 mba LABS. A block booking with special rates have been made and all delega
 tes are requested to make their own reservations directly with this hotel 
 by not later than 31 January 2019.\n\nThe registration fee of R 5 500 will
  include the conference fees\, the opening function\, lunches during the w
 orkshop\, the conference dinner and the daily transport between the hotel 
 and the venue at iThemba LABS.\n\nAn excursion which can be reserved optio
 nally will take the delegates and accompanying persons on a scenic trip to
  view the Penguins at Boulders beach followed by a visit of the Cape of Go
 od Hope Nature Reserve.\n\nFurther information regarding registration and

  Scientific Committee.\n\nThe deadline for early registration and financia
 l support (Students registered in South Africa only) is 15 February 2019.
