SANHARP will be hosting the 2nd Annual Postgraduate Conference for MSc and PHD students from 12-14 October 2011 at iThemba LABS. The aim is to showcase research work of SANHARP sponsored postgraduate students. The initiative also aims to promote networking amongst various stakeholders within the South African Nuclear Sector. The first SANHARP Conference was held in August 2009 at iThemba LABS.
Objectives:
Showcase research work of SANHARP Postgraduate Students;
Create a networking platform for SANHARP students and key players in the nuclear sector;
Create a networking platform for SANHARP students and non-sponsored students to share information and knowledge regarding challenges and resolution methods in research projects.
The postgraduate conference will cover all aspects of nuclear related research conducted in academia and industry. The presentations will follow an approach where a group leader presents the overall research theme/objectives of a research centre, followed by group members who will present on their specific research areas. The following are the themes:
Modelling
Materials
Radiation Science and Reactor Technology
Waste Minimisation
Radiation Protection and Safety
Uranium-based Research
Other (Systems, Thermodynamics etc)
Industry, Stakeholders and Academia will be afforded an opportunity to exhibit at a minimal cost.

In order to enable an iCal export link, your account needs to have an API key created. This key enables other applications to access data from within Indico even when you are neither using nor logged into the Indico system yourself with the link provided. Once created, you can manage your key at any time by going to 'My Profile' and looking under the tab entitled 'HTTP API'. Additionally to having an API key associated with your account, exporting private event information requires the usage of a persistent signature. This enables API URLs which do not expire after a few minutes so while the setting is active, anyone in possession of the link provided can access the information. Due to this, it is extremely important that you keep these links private and for your use only. If you think someone else may have acquired access to a link using this key in the future, you must immediately create a new key pair on the 'My Profile' page under the 'HTTP API' and update the iCalendar links afterwards.
